Cameo profiles UK deprivation

EuroDirect has introduced the latest version of its geo-demographic consumer classification system. Cameo Welfare allows marketers to assess levels of deprivation and poverty at postcode level by segmenting neighbourhoods into 28 categories, ranging from 1 for the least deprived to 28 for those worst affected.

"Dependent on a company's product offering and audience, Cameo Welfare may provide additional targeting power to help identify key consumer groups most suitable for their products and services," says Leanne Davidson, head of product management at EuroDirect.
